Alfaré® HMO® is a food for special medical purposes, suitable from birth.
Alfaré® HMO® is a complete nutritional formula based on advanced whey protein hydrolyzate, containing medium-chain triglycerides as well as 2′-FL & LNnT.
Alfaré® HMO® is indicated for the nutritional needs of infants and young children in cases of cow’s milk protein allergy and digestive malabsorption or acute diarrhea.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Breast milk is the ideal food for infants. It is advisable to continue breastfeeding even in the case of cow’s milk protein allergy. This generally requires appropriate dietary advice to completely exclude all sources of cow’s milk protein from the mother’s diet.
• Before using this infant food, seek advice from a healthcare professional. Use under medical supervision.
• Alfaré® HMO® can be used either in a bottle or for enteral nutrition.
• If the decision is made to use an infant formula, it is important to follow the instructions on the product label. Unboiled water, an unsterilized bottle, improper dilution, handling or storage may make the baby ill. Follow the preparation instructions exactly. Use only the scoop inside.
• May be suitable for exclusive nutrition from birth or, from 6 months, as a supplement to a diversified diet.
• The number and volume of bottles are given as an indication and should be adapted according to medical recommendations.
• Contraindications: galactosemia, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Wash your hands before preparing the bottle. Use only very clean utensils.
• Prepare only one bottle at a time and give it immediately. Discard any unconsumed bottle.
• One box allows the reconstitution of 15 bottles of 200 ml.
• Once opened, use within 3 weeks.
• Expiry: 24 months
