Nutramigen 1 LGG® Complete is a hypoallergenic milk replacer containing highly hydrolyzed casein. The product was created for the nutrition of infants with moderate or mild cow’s milk protein allergy. Nutramigen 1 LGG® Complete is a food for special medical purposes and should be used under the supervision of a physician. It can be used in infants from the 1st day of life for dietary treatment:
- in mild to moderate cow’s milk allergy,
- in other food allergies, e.g. in allergy to soy protein,
- in case of lactose intolerance and secondary sucrose intolerance,
- in allergy symptoms,
- in the prevention of allergy to cow’s milk proteins.
Nutramigen 1 LGG® Complete is a nutritionally complete product, so it can be used as the sole source of nutrition, meeting the daily needs of infants with cow’s milk protein allergy. The cow’s milk proteins contained in the formula have been hydrolysed, during which they have broken down into small pieces, so that they are no longer recognised by the immune system of most infants with cow’s milk protein allergy.
When preparing the formula, follow the feeding table below, unless your doctor recommends otherwise. The feeding information provided below is for guidance only. Your child may need larger or smaller amounts – always follow your doctor’s recommendations.
